You will need:
Your driving licence number
Your name exactly as it’s written on your driving licence (you’ll need to enter it in capital letters, putting your first and middle names in the ‘Forename(s)’ box)
Your criminal record disclosure number to become a driving instructor –you must have obtained this within the last 6 months
Details of any motoring or non-motoring offenses, and disqualifications from driving
Details of any court cases being brought against you

Once you have registered to become a driving instructor and received your PRN (personal reference number) you can apply to take the ADI Part 1 examination.
